Nolan Wickard is a 1993 graduate of Elmwood High School. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1998 with a major in Comprehensive Science with an emphasis on Biology and a minor in Geology. He obtained his Masters from the University of Akron in Educational Leadership. He taught science for 14 years at Van Wert HS, Chippewa HS, and Wadsworth HS. The last six years he was an Associate Principal at Wooster HS. During his tenure at Wooster HS, Mr. Wickard served in many capacities including the District Leadership Team (DLT), Building Leadership Team (BLT), and numerous Teacher Based Teams (TBTs). Mr. Wickard also served on the district RTI team and MTSS team. Mr. Wickard played an integral part in the design and development of Wooster High Schools STEM program and their Alternative Education Program. During Mr. Wickard’s time at Wooster High School, the school consistently earned US News and World Report Silver Medal. Mr. Wickard coached football for 22 years and also coached basketball, baseball, and softball. Mr. Wickard resides outside of Wayne, OH with his wife Amanda and four children, Hayden (14), Coen and Emerson (5), and Lincoln (3). Mr. Wickard is entering his second year at Woodmore High School.
