What is VCT?
VCT, or Visual Communications Technology, is a multi-class program that was established in 2019 at Woodmore High School. The program consists of Yearbook, Photography, and Computer/Multimedia. The three classes are taught by Mrs. Tina Sandwisch (Yearbook), Ms. Jodie Peace (Photography), and Ms. Ellen Ralston (Computers/Multimedia). The program is also supported by the district's Technology Director Mr. Michael Byrd and the district's Technology Integration Specialist Mr. Brad Davis.
The program is early in its development but has already made its mark by creating a photography business called Wildcat Photography and by creating and producing a bi-weekly news broadcast called Wildcat News.
Stay tuned for more exciting projects created by our VCT program and students!
