NOv. 5 - Div. III State Meet - Fortress Obetz (Obetz) - Senior Olivia Vogelpohl ran a time of 20:20.1 to finish 57th in her third trip to the state meet. There were 182 runners in the race.

Oct. 29 - Div. III Regional Meet - Hedges Boyer Park (Tiffin) - The girls team placed 12th of 23 teams with 317 points. The top seven teams and top 28 individuals advance to the state meet next week. Individually, senior Olivia Vogelpohl earned a spot in the state meet finishing 20th in a time of 19:21.5. Junior Emma Hammer finished 54th in 20:46.5, senior Jordan Beam was 69th in 21:05.9, junior Caydie Buchanan was 103rd in 21:41.3, junior Madi Hammer was 166th in 23:13.9, and junior Margaret Bush was 176th in 23:59.4. There were 190 runners in the race.

Oct. 22 - Div. III Sectional Meet - Leaders Farm (Napoleon) - The girls were second and the boys sixth in the sectional races. The girls had 56 points to finish behind only Liberty Center (32 pts.) while the boys had 184 points. The girls put four runners in the top 14 as senior Olivia Vogelpohl placed sixth in 20:03.86, junior Emma Hammer was 10th in 20:33.55, junior Caydie Buchanan was 13th in 20:57.11, and senior Jordan Beam was 14th in 21:05.60. Sophomore Lilian Runion was 23rd in 22:43.93, junior Madi Hammer was 24th in 22:53.31, and junior Margaret Bush was 30th in 23:57.34. The girls team advances to the Div. III regional meet next week (Oct. 29) at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin where their race will begin at 11:45. Freshman Myles Byrd was the first Woodmore runners across the finish line in the boys race running a time of 19:23.17. Freshman Drake Blausey was 35th in 19:24.38, senior Ricky torres was 36th in 19:26.48, freshman Johnathan CArter was 40th in 19:51.47, sophomore Henry Smola was 52nd in 21:52.91, and sophomore Matt Caldwell was 53rd in 21:57.61. The top 3 teams qualified for the regional meet along with anyone finishing in the top 12 individually not on a qualifying team.

Oct. 15 - Northern Buckeye Conference Championships - Mary Jane Thurstin Park - The girls were second to Eastwood, and the boys were fourth in the league meet. The girls had 40 points to finish behind only Eastwood, who had 23 points. The boys had 125 points as Otsego took the team crown with 25 points. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl finished third individually with a time of 20:10.70. Junior Emma Hammer was sixth with a time of 21:02.52 and senior Jordan Beam was seventh in 21:03.27. All three earn first-team All-NBC honors. Junior Caydie Buchanan was ninth in a time of 21:34.76 to earn second-team All-NBC honors. Junior Madi Hammer was 15th in 22:55.21 and sophomore Lilian Runion was 20th in a time of 23:40.58. Both Hammer and Runion earn honorable mention all-league accolades. Sophomore Stella Strong was timed in 23:58.52 to place 24th, junior Margaret Bush ran a time of 24:00.99 to place 25th, junior Kylie Cordy ran 24:21.57 to place 28th, and senior Lilly Strong ran a time of 29:25.62 to place 57th. The first Wildcat boys across the finish line was freshman Myles Byrd in 20th-place in a time of 19:22.80. He earned honorable mention All-NBC honors. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl finished fourth in the girls race running a time of 19:41.6. There were 135 runners in the race. Junior Emma Hammer was 11th in 20:50.8, senior Jordan Beam was 26th in 22:06.0, junior Caydie Buchanan was 29th in 22:20.4, sophomore Lilian Runion was 53rd in 23:33.7, junior Madi Hammer was 55th in 23:39.6, junior Margaret Bush was 71st in 24:43.7, junior Kylie Cordy was 83rd in 25:31.4, and senior Lilly Strong was 124th in 31:44.1. Senior Ricky Torres was the first Wildcat male across the finish line in a time of 19:23.3 to place 58th. There were 15 teams in the girls event and 18 on the boys side. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl led the girls with a fifth-place finish in a time of 19:43.04. There were 173 runners in the race. She was followed by senior Jordan Beam who was 21st in 21:12.94, junior Emma Hammer was 29th in 21:50.74, junior Caydie Buchanan was 39th in 22:19.98, sophomore Lilian Runion was 64th in 23:28.82, junior Madi Hammer was 81st in 23:58.17, junior Margaret Bush was 88th in 24:32.84, junior Kylie Cordy was 94th in 24:59.63, and senior Lilly Strong was 144th in 28:49.45. Sept. 20 - NBC Jamboree #2 - Mary Jane Thurstin Park - The girls team was 2nd with 63 points and the boys team was 7th with 145 points. Eastwood was the top girls team with 28 points. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl was second in the girls race running a time of 20:45.31. Junior Emma Hammer was fifth in 21:39.00, junior Caydie Buchanan was ninth in 22:44.97. Sophomore Lilian Runion finished 25th in a time of 25:35.04, junior Margaret Bush was 26th in 25:46.55, junior Kylie Cordy was 38th in 27:11.53, and senior Lilly Strong was 64th in 31:14.88. For the boys, freshman Johnathan Carter was 26th in 21:05.65 to lead the Wildcats. For the girls, senior Olivia Vogelpohl finished fifth in a time of 20:08.7. There were 101 runners. Junior Emma Hammer was sixth in a time of 20:54.4. Junior Caydie Buchanan was 12th in 21:53.1, senior Jordan Beam was 17th in 22:15.9, sophomore Lilian Runion ran 23:28.9 to place 35th, junior Margaret Bush was 54th in 25:13.7, junior Kylie Cordy was 61st in 25:39.3, and senior Lilly Strong was 89th in 30:15.4. For the boys, freshman Johnathan Carter ran 19:06.8 to finish 37th. There were 121 runners in the race. III-B race with 250 points. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl finished 11th in the girls race with a time of 19:51.3. There were 256 runners in the race. Junior Emma Hammer was 29th in 20:44.6, senior Jordan Beam was 42nd in 21:22.2, junior Madi Hammer was 157th in 24:33.7, junior Kylie Cordy was 175th in 25:19.2, and sophomore Lilian Runion was 220th in 27:44.8. In the boys race, sophomore Drake Blausey finished 46th in 19:58.8. There were 124 runners in the race. Freshman Johnathan Carter was 49th in 20:06.4, freshman Myles Byrd was 50th in 20:08.9, senior Ricky Torres was 57th in 20:41.2, freshman Aiden Cordy was 60th in 20:50.1, sophomore Henry Smola was 92nd in 22:18.8, and sophomore Matt Caldwell was 103rd in 22:48.4. The Wildcats had additional runners compete in open races. For the girls, junior Margaret Bush was 66th in 25:23.1 and senior Lilly Strong was 162nd in 29:23.2. For the boys, sophomore Nick Horvath ran 22:11.5 to place 65th, sophomore JJ Dickerson was 118th in 25:55.8, sophomore Brady Buhrow was 120th in 26:05.7, and sophomore Matt Squires was 129th in 28:25.7.

Sept. 6 - NBC Jamboree - Elmwood H.S. - The girls were second to Eastwood (22 points) with 52 points while the boys were fifth with 109 points. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl was second individually running 21:10 to finish behind only Leah Emch from Eastwood (20:32). Junior Emma Hammer was 7th with a time of 22:30 while senior Jordan Beam was also in the top 10 placing 8th in 22:53. Junior Madi Hammer was 13th in 23:54, sophomore Lilian Runion was 24th in 25:17, junior Kylie Cordy was 27th running 26:08, junior Margaret Bush was 31st in 26:34, and senior Lilly Strong was 58th in 30:49. The boys top finisher was freshman Johnathan Carter in 18th-place in 20:42. Senior Ricky Torres was right behind Carter in 19th-place running 20:43. Sophomore Drake Blausey was 25th in 21:13, freshman Aiden Cordy was 28th running 21:17, freshman Myles Byrd was 29th in 21:24, sophomore Henry Smola was 48th in 23:13, sophomore Matt Caldwell was 49th in 23:16, sophomore JJ Dickerson was 59th in 24:23, sophomore Nick Horvath was 60th in 24:38, and sophomore Brady Buhrow was 73rd in 28:29.

The boys had 361 points. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl was third among the 118 runners in the girls race with a time of 19:48.72. Aug. 27 - Tiger Invite - Seneca East H.S. - The girls finished second and boys were 17th. The girls had 113 team points to finish behind only Patrick Henry (66 pts.) in the 16-team field. The boys had 485 points. Senior Olivia Vogelpohl finished fourth in the girls race running 19:42.6. Junior Emma Hammer was the next across the line in 12th-place with a time of 20:59.8. Junior Caydie Buchanan was 21st in 22:07.4 and senior Jordan Beam was 27th in 22:20.8. Junior Madi Hammer was 64th in 24:10.4, sophomore Lilian Runion was 80th in 25:03.3, sophomore Stella Strong was 84th in 25:11.7, junior Kylie Cordy was 88th in 25:19.6, and junior Margaret Bush was 107th in 26:16.1. Senior Ricky Torres was the first Wildcat boys runner across the line in 20:23.8, good for 92nd-place. Oct. 30 - Div. III Regional Meet - Hedges Boyer Park (Tifin) - The Wildcat girls team just missed a ticket to the state meet as a team finishing eighth with 260 points. The top seven teams advanced. Minster was the team champion with 43 points and the seventh-place team was Ft. Recovery with 245 points. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl was the first Wildcat across the finish line in 20:56.8 to place 34th. Sophomore Emma Hammer was 47th in 21:18.0, sophomore Caydie Buchanan was 90th in 22:09.8, junior Jordan Beam was 94th in a time of 22:16.2, sophomore Madi Hammer was 100th in 22:26.0, senior Kristen Davis ran 23:35.1 to place 137th, and freshman Stella Strong was 149th in 24:08.8.

Oct. 23 - Div. III District Meet - Owens Community College (Findlay) - The girls team placed third with 94 points behind Old Fort (74 points) and Margaretta (75) to advance to the regional meet Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl finished ninth individually in 20:42.28, sophomore Emma Hammer was 11th in 21:14.23, junior Jordan Beam was 20th in 21:30.20, sophomore Caydie Buchanan was 27th in 22:07.08, sophomore Madi Hammer was 32nd in 22:29.35, senior Kristen Davis was 47th in 23:09.58, and freshman Stella Strong was 54th in 23:31.35. The boys team finished 11th with 336 points. Freshman Drake Blausey finished 63rd in a time of 20:33.11, freshman Henry Smola was 74th in 21:53.28, freshman JJ Dickerson placed 77th in 22:01.34, freshman Nick Horvath was 78th in 22:04.50, senior Marty Repka was 84th in 23:04.65, freshman Brady Buhrow was 89th in 25:22.39, and senior Mason Hablitzel was 92nd in 33:12.87.

Oct. 16 - Northern Buckeye Conference Championships - Eastwood H.S. - The girls team was second and the boys team was eighth. The girls had 38 team points to finish behind only Eastwood, which had 20 points. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl became the eighth league champion from Woodmore capturing the girls race in a a time of 19:58, six seconds in front of runner-up Haley Sponaugle from Eastwood. Woodmore had four more runners finish in the top 15. Sophomore Caydie Buchanan finished seventh in a time of 21:23, sophomore Emma Hammer was eighth in 21:28, junior Jordan Beam was ninth in 21:36, and sophomore Madi Hammer was 14th in 22:10. Senior Kristen Davis ran 23:26 to place 27th, freshman Stella Strong was 31st in a time of 23:49, freshman Lilian Runion was 34th in 23:58, sophomore Kylie Cordy was 41st in 24:47, freshman Kaylin Day was 48th in 26:01, and junior Lilly Strong was 59th in 27:37. The boys had 198 points as senior Marty Repka was the first Wildcat runners across the line in 37th-place in 20:45. Freshman Henry Smola was right behind in 38th-place in 20:46, freshman Drake Blausey finished 45th in 21:12, freshman Nick Horvath was 51st in 21:51, freshman JJ Dickerson ran 24:09 to place 67th, freshman Brady Buhrow was 72nd in 25:24, and senior Mason Hablitzel finished 77th in 33:12.

Oct. 9 - Fostoria Booster Invite - Fostoria H.S. - The girls team finished third with 65 points and the boy team was eighth with 207 points. Sophomore Caydie Buchanan was the top finisher placing 10th in a time of 23:09.90, junior Jordan Beam was 12th in 23:33.30, and sophomore Madi Hammer was 15th in 23:39.62. Senior Kristen Davis ran 25:36.78 to place 23rd, sophomore Kylie Cordy was 30th in 26:18.41, freshman Stella Strong was 38th in 27:57.67, and junior Lilly Strong ran 32:28.10 to place 54th. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl finished seventh among 162 runners with a time of 20:35.72. Sophomore Emma Hammer ran 21:46.31 to finish 18th and junior Jordan Beam was 27th in 22:20.89. Sophomore Kylie Cordy was 59th in 24:14.26, freshman Stella Strong finished 81st in 25:16.23, freshman Kaylin Day was 102nd and 26:25.21, and junior Lily Strong was 131st in 28:55.43. For the girls, junior Olivia Vogelpohl finished fourth running 20:10.75. Sophomore Emma Hammer finished 14th in 21:35.55, junior Jordan Beam was 22nd in 22:06.99, and sophomore Madi Hammer ran 22:26.24 to finish 25th. Senior Kristen Davis ran 23:42.23 to place 34th, freshman Stella Strong finished 44th in 24:24.95, and sophomore Kylie Cordy ran 25:02.03 to place 51st. For the boys, freshman Drake Blausey ran 21:19.41 to place 68th. Sept. 22 - NBC Jamboree - Eastwood H.S. - The girls team was second to the host school with 50 points (Eastwood had 21 points). The boys team was 8th with 213 points. The girls had four runners in the top 11. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl was second in a time of 20:20. Sophomore Emma Hammer was fifth in 21:43, junior Jordan Beam was 10th in 22:35, and sophomore Madi Hammer was 11th in 22:37. Freshman Stella Strong finished 28th in 24;32, sophomore Kylie Cordy was 30th in 24:45, freshman Kaylin Day was 44th in 26:53, and junior Lilly Strong was 66th in 31:20. On the boys side, freshman Drake Blausey was the top finisher running 21:44 to place 41st. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl ran 20:32 to place fifth while sophomore Emma Hammer was eighth in 21:18. Junior Jordan Beam placed 12th (22:20), sophomore Madi Hammer was 13th (22:30), senior Kristen Davis was 22nd (23:58), freshman Lillian Runion was 25th (24:03), sophomore Kylie Cordy was 37th (26:28), freshman Stella Strong was 39th (26:33), freshman Kaylin Day was 45th (27:18), and junior Lilly Strong was 56th in 31:26. Sept. 11 - Tiffin Carnival - Hedges Boyer Park - The girls team placed sixth among 48 schools with 250 points. Minster took the team title with 79 points. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl was 14th among the 277 runners with a time of 20:04.4 while sophomore Caydie Buchanan was 25th in 20:40.0. Sophomore Emma Hammer was 61st in 21:45.5, junior Jordan Beam was 75th in 21:58.6, sophomore Madi Hammer was 87th in 22:17.8, sophomore Kylie Cordy was 175th in 24:32.1, and senior Kristen Davis was 185th in 24:53.3. Three Woodmore athletes ran in the open race. Freshman Lillian Runion was 19th in a time of 24:04.2, freshman Kaylin Day was 99th in 26:57.0, and junior Lilly Strong was 169th in 31:20.5. The boys placed 22nd of 24 teams with 489 points. Sept. 7 - NBC Jamboree - Eastwood H.S. - The girls team was second with 39 points while the boys were eighth with 211 points. Eastwood won the girls race with 24 points and Otsego won the boys race with 20 points. Sophomore Kylie Cordy was was 22nd in 25:25, senior Kristen Davis was 23rd in 25:30, sophomore Maddie Hammer was 37th in 26:51, freshman Stella Strong was 48th in 28:36, freshman Kaylin Day was 49th in 28:37, and junior Lilly Strong was 67th in 33:30. On the boys side, freshman Drake Blausey was the first one across the finish line in 22:37 to place 37th. Freshman JJ Dickerson was 42nd in 23:09, freshman Henry Smola was 48th in 23:24, senior Marty Repka was 56th in 24:34, and freshman Brady Buhrow was 71st in 28:05.

Sept. 4 - Mel Brodt Invite - Bowling Green State Univ. - The girls finished second among 13 teams with 49 points. Eastwood won the girls event with 37 points. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl was the top finisher running 20:05.96 to place eighth among 124 runners. Sophomore Caydie Buchanan was 16th in 20:39.60, sophomore Emma Hammer was 27th in 22:03.00, junior Jordan Beam was 28th in 22:07.10, and sophomore Maddie Hammer was 29th in 22:12.90. Sophomore Kylie Cordy ran 24:40.65 (59th), freshman Lillian Runion ran 24:56.978 (64th), senior Kristen Davis ran 25:32.86 (70th), freshman Stella Strong ran 26:09.35 (76th), freshman Kaylin Day ran 26:40.89 (82nd), and junior Lilly Strong ran 30:48.87 (105th). On the boys side, the Wildcats were 10th among 13 teams with 159 points. Freshman Drake Blausey finished 80th in a time of 21:34.31. Aug. 28 - Tiger Classic - Seneca East HS - The girls team placed second to Liberty Center with 129 points. Liberty Center had 54 points. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl placed 10th in a time of 20:13.24 while sophomore Caydie Buchanan was 17th (20:54.94) and sophomore Emma Hammer was 20th in 21:20.98. Junior Jordan Beam was 42nd in 22:59.41, sophomore Maddie Hammer was 50th in 23:24.89, sophomore Kylie Cordy was 75th in 24:28.85, freshman Lillian Runion was 87th in 25:06.07, senior Kristen Davis was 107th in 25:53.84, and freshman Stella Strong was 139th in 27:30.54. On the boys side, the Wildcats placed 20th with 573 points. Freshman Drake Blausey led the way placing 127th in 21:37.48. Senior Marty Repka was 154th in 22:51.20, freshman Henry Smola was 169th in 23:34.18, freshman Nick Horvath was 170th in 23:39.01, and freshman Brady Buhrow was 215th in 27:48.11.

Aug. 21 - OHSAA Pre-Season Meet - Obetz, Ohio - The Wildcat girls team finished 6th among 28 teams with 225 points. Madeira was the top team with 97 points. Junior Olivia Vogelpohl finished 10th in a field of 280 runners with a time of 21:04.8. Sophomore Caydie Buchanan was timed in 22:06.9 (22nd), sophomore Emma Hammer ran 22:29.3 (31st), sophomore Maddie Hammer ran 2:52.6 (121st), sophomore Kylie Cordy ran 26:10.4 (132nd), junior Jordan Beam ran 26:11.2 (133rd) and freshman Kaylin Day ran 29:23.4 (205th). the boys teams placed 42nd of 44 teams with 1,256 points. Unioto was the team champ with 63 points. Freshman Drake Blausey was the top Wildcat runner running 23:00.1 to place 250th. Freshman JJ Dickerson ran 25:18.9 (316th), freshman Nate Horvath ran 25:48.6 (324th), freshman Henry Smola ran 26:15.8 (328th), senior Marty Repka ran 26:29.0 (331st), freshman Brady Buhrow ran 30:42.9 (384th), and Mason Hablitzel ran 38:47.5 (398th).
