March 28 - North Baltimore 8, at Woodmore 5. Woodmore came back to tie the game at 3-all in the fourth inning, only to see North Baltimore score two in the top of the fifth and three more in the seventh. Woodmore had five different players with a single in the game including sophomore Harry LaMunyon who dove home a run in the second inning with his hit. Three of the Woodmore runs scored on wild pitches. Sophomore Trace Murphy started and went five innings allowing four earned runs while freshman Michael Seeger tossed the last two innings allowing three earned runs.

March 27 - at Lakota 11, Woodmore 1 (5 innings). The Wildcats opened the season with the non-league road loss. Senior Andrew Tucker worked the first four innings allowing three hits and two earned runs while striking out one. Sophomore Parker Hahn and senior Quentin Trevino also pitched in the game. Trevino had the only Woodmore hit, a single in the fourth inning. He eventually scored on an error. Lakota scored nine runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

May 27 - The following Wildcat players earned Northern Buckeye Conference all-league honors in the recent vote of the conference coaches:
Aaron Miller - first team outfielder (.387 BA, 29 hits, 3 doubles, 19 runs scored, 23-23 stolen bases)
Bryce Sandwisch - second team utility (.292 BA, 21 hits, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 11 runs scored, 9 RBI, 10-12 SB)
Blake Almroth - honorable mention (.297 BA, 19 hits, 7 doubles, 2 triples, 10 runs scored, 18 RBI, 56.0 IP, 4-5, 76 K, 24 ER)
May 19 - Div. III Sectional - at Wynford 4, Woodmore 1. The Wildcats played with the #6 team in the state before falling out of the state tournament. All the scoring was done in the fifth inning by both teams. Woodmore plated its only run of the game in the top half of the inning as junior Tyler Smith led off with a single. Freshman Jesse Gutierrez ran for Smith and stole second. Senior Bryce Sandwisch then doubled him home. But Wynford countered with four runs in the bottom half. An error, walk, and hit by pitch loaded the bases for Wynford with two outs and the next batter stroked a bases-clearing triple and he scored a couple pitches later on a wild pitch. Senior Blake Almroth, who had a double in the game at the plate, started and pitched all the way for Woodmore allowing four hits and no earned runs while striking out two. Smith added a single and junior Liam McCarthy had two singles in the game. Woodmore outhit Wynford, 6-4, but struck out 11 times in the game.

May 16 - at Rossford 12, Woodmore 2 (5 innings). Senior Blake Almroth collected two of the five Woodmore hits, both doubles, and drove in the fifth inning run. Senior Bryce Sandwisch had and RBI single in the third inning. Seniors Aaron Miller and Derek Romstadt had the other hits. Junior Andrew Tucker started and went 3.1 innings allowing nine hits and three earned runs. Sandwisch tossed the final 1.1 innings alllowing two hits and two earned runs.

May 14 - JV - Lakota 28, at Woodmore 14 (5 innings). Freshmen Parker Hahn and Brody Ish both had two hits and a pair of RBI. Sophomore Brayden Brubaker had two hits and four RBI.
May 13 - Lake 18, at Woodmore 0 (5 innings). The Wildcats had just three hits in losing the home Northern Buckeye Conference game. Senior Aaron Miller, junior Andrew Tucker, and senior Derek Romstadt each had hits. Tucker's was a double. Miller started and pitched 2.0 innings, and junior Quentin Trevino pitched the last 3.0 innings.

May 12 - Rossford 13, at Woodmore 4. Rossford had three big innings to one for Woodmore and that was the difference in the game. Senior Blake Almroth started and pitched three innings allowing three hits and three earned runs. Senior Derek Romstadt finished the game tossing 4.0 innings allowing two hits and four earned runs. Almroth had two hits, one a triple. Almroth tripled in the fourth inning and junior Andrew Tucker singled him home. Woodmore scored three more times in the inning, all on wild pitches/passed balls. Woodmore had just one runner reach third base in the other six innings other than the fourth. Rossford pitchers had 12 strikeouts. Seniors Aaron Miller and Ashton Schneider along with junior Quentin Trevino had the other Woodmore hits.

May 11 - Otsego 6, at Woodmore 4. After Woodmore tied the game in the bottom of the third inning at three, a three-run fourth inning by Otsego turned out to be the difference. Woodmore got one run back in the fifth, but could never tie or take the lead. After Otsego scored three runs in its first two at-bats, senior Ashton Schneider got the Wildcats to within one run hitting a two-run home run in the bottom of the second inning. The next inning, senior Bryce Sandwisch got the Wildcats even with a sacrifice fly. Woodmore scored its fifth inning run on an error. Sandwisch went the distance on the mound allowing six earned runs while striking out seven. Junior Andrew Tucker had two hits and scored a run. Seniors Aaron Miller, Blake Almroth, and Derek Romstadt also had hits. Almroth had a double. Otsego pitcher recorded 12 strikeouts.

May 10 - at Woodmore 9, Port Clinton 6. The Wildcats picked up the non-league win taking the lead with three runs in the fifth inning and adding three more in the sixth. Junior Andrew Tucker started and picked up the win going 5.1 innings allowing 10 hit, five earned runs and striking out five. Senior Blake Almroth finished up getting the save getting his five outs all on strikeouts. Almroth also had three hits, two doubles and a triple, and drove in six runs. He scored twice. Almroth drove in two runs with a triple in the third inning and drove in two runs with doubles in the fifth and sixth innings. Tucker also had three hits, one a double, with one RBI. Senior Ashton Schneider drove in two runs, one in the second inning with a sacrifice fly, and one in the fifth inning on a ground out. Junior Quentin Trevino scored three runs and senior Bryce Sandwisch scored two runs.

May 9 - at Elmwood 10, Woodmore 0 (5 innings). The Wildcats had only two hits in the game in losing the Northern Buckeye Conference road game. Senior Bryce Sandwisch had a first-inning double and senior Ashton Schneider had a single in the second inning. Elmwood pitching retired the last 12 Woodmore batters in order. Senior Aaron Miller started and went 1.1 innings allowing five earned runs with two strikeouts. Junior Quentin Trevino pitched 2.2 innings allowing five hits and three earned runs with two strikeouts. Senor Derek Romstadt tossed the final 0.2 innings.

JV - Elmwood 20, at Woodmore 2 (5 innings). Freshmen Harry LaMunyon and Jesse Gutierrez each had singles for the Wildcat's only hits. Woodmore used three pitchers in the game, freshmen Parker Hahn, Mitchell Gillig, and LaMunyon.
May 7 - at Otsego 12, Woodmore 2 (5 innings). Woodmore had four of its five hits in the game in the third inning to score its two runs, but it was not enough in the Northern Buckeye Conference road game. Five different players had hits with junior Tyler Smith, junior Quentin Trevino, and senior Aaron Miller opening the third inning with singles to load the bases. After an out, senior Blake Almroth drove home the first run with a sacrifice fly and junior Andrew Tucker followed with a run-scoring single, but the inning ended with the runner attempting to score the second run on Tucker's single being thrown out at the plate. Senior Bryce Sandwisch tossed 4.2 innings allowing five earned runs while striking out four.

May 5 - at Fostoria 9, Woodmore 5. The Wildcats dropped the Northern Buckeye Conference road game even though they outhit the Redmen, 6-4. Fostoria scored eight of their nine runs with two outs. Senior Aaron Miller had three hits, scored two runs, and drove in one run. Senior Blake Almroth started and pitched 3.2 innings allowing three hits and five earned runs. He had seven strikeouts. Junior Quentin Trevino finished up pitching 2.1 innings with four strikeouts. Almroth had a sacrifice fly and senior Ashton Schneider had an RBI single in the first inning. Miller drove in the first run in the second inning with a single and the other run scored when Miller stole home. Trevino drove in the fourth inning run on a ground out.

May 4 - at Lake 18, Woodmore 2 (5 innings) - Senor Aaron Miller went 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored and senior Bryce Sandwisch went 2-for-2 with a double and triple and one RBI. Junior Andrew Tucker drove in the first inning run with a sacrifice fly. Sandwisch plated the third inning run with an RBI triple. Tucker started and went two innings before giving way to senior Derek Romstadt who went 1.1 innings. Junior Quentin Trevino tossed the final 0.2 innings. Lake had six extra-base hits in the game.

May 2 - at Genoa 16, Woodmore 0 (5 innings). The Wildcats had just one hit, a single from senior Bryce Sandwisch leading off the fourth inning, in the Northern Buckeye Conference road loss. Other than a hit batter in the first inning, Sandwisch was the only Wildcat baserunner in the game. Senior Aaron Miller started and pitched two innings. Junior Quentin Trevino pitched the final two innings.

JV - at Woodmore 9, Genoa 7. Freshman Parker Hahn earned the win in relief of freshman starter Trace Murphy pitching the final three innings with five strikeouts. Woodmore pitchers allowed just three earned runs. Sophomore Brayden Brubaker stroked a three-run double in the fifth inning to break a 6-all tie. He had three hits in the game and four RBI. Hahn drove in a run in the third and fourth innings while freshman Harry LaMunyon had two hits and scored three runs. Freshman Brody Ish had two hits, two runs scored, and an RBI. Freshman Jesse Gutierrez had one hit and scored two runs.
April 29 - at Woodmore 6, Fostoria 3. Woodmore used a big third inning to propel them to the Northern Buckeye Conference home victory. Senior Blake Almroth started and pitched six innings allowing six hits, three runs (one earned) with nine strikeouts and one walk. Junior Andrew Tucker needed just five pitches to get three outs in the seventh inning and pick up the save. Woodmore scored two runs in the third inning on an error before Almroth plated two runs with a single, and Tucker drove in a run with a double. Senior Derek Romstadt drove in the fifth inning run with a single. Senior Aaron Miller had two hits, one a double, and scored a run.

April 28 - at Hopewell-Loudon 10, Woodmore 0 (5 innings). Woodmore managed just two hits in losing the non-league road game. Senior Aaron Miller and junior Andrew Tucker had the hits for the Wildcats. Woodmore had runners on second and third with no outs in the fourth inning and had the bases loaded with one out in the fifth inning. Tucker started and pitched one inning. He was followed on the mound by senior Bryce Sandwisch (1.0 IP) and senior Derek Romstadt (2.0 IP).

JV - at Woodmore 8, Hopewell-Loudon 5. Woodmore scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth to earn the win. Freshman Trace Murphy earned the win in relief of starter freshman Parker Hahn. Hahn pitched five innings and had five strikeouts and Murphy had three strikeouts. Hahn had four hits in the game and a pair of RBI while freshman Nick Horvath had two hits as did freshman Harry LaMunyon.
April 27 - Eastwood 16, at Woodmore 0 (5 innings). The Wildcats lost at home in Northern Buckeye Conference play, but did have their chances to score. Woodmore had the bases loaded with two outs in the second and fourth innings and they had runners on first and third with two outs in the third. Senior Aaron Miller had two hits. Miller started and went one inning while senior Blake Almroth pitched 1.2 innings and junior Quentin Trevino pitched the final 2.1 innings. Eastwood had five extra-base hits and drew six walks.

April 22 - Elmwood 4, at Woodmore 2 (8 innings). The Wildcats sent the game to extra innings with a run in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, but lost the NBC home game in the eighth inning. Junior Andrew Tucker drove in the tying run in the fifth inning with an RBI single and after a double by senior Blake Almroth in the the bottom of the seventh, senior Ashton Schneider singled in Almroth with two outs to send the game to the eighth inning. Woodmore had runners on second and third with two outs in the the eighth, but could not push across a run. The Wildcats had the bases loaded with two outs in the third inning and did not score. Woodmore struck out 17 times in the game. Senior Bryce Sandwisch had three hits and a run scored. Parker started and went all the way on the mound allowing 10 hits, four earned runs with two strikeouts and one walk.

April 21 - Van Buren 5, at Woodmore 3. Senior Blake Almroth tossed a complete game allowing five hits and four earned runs while striking out eight. He also had two hits, a run scored and two RBI. Almroth drove in the first inning run with a ground out. In the third, senior Brett Sandwisch doubled and Almroth followed with an RBI single. Almroth eventually scored on a ground out by junior Andrew Tucker. Woodmore had the first two batters reach in the seventh inning, but after a strikeout, the game ended on a double play by Van Buren.

April 20 - JV - Rossford 19, at Woodmore 9 (6 innings). Freshman Harry LaMunyon had two hits and three RBI on a bases-clearing triple in the fourth inning. Freshman Parker Hahn had two hits and two RBI. Freshman Brody Ish also had an RBI. Woodmore used four different pitchers in the game.
April 15 - Genoa 7, at Woodmore 1. The Wildcats were held off the scoreboard until the seventh inning when junior Quentin Trevino drove in junior Liam McCarthy with a single. Senior Bryce Sandwisch had two hits. Senior Aaron Miller started and went 5.1 innings allowing five hits ad four earned runs. Junior Andrew Tucker finished up allowing just one hit. Woodmore had four runners reach third base in the game.

April 14 - Woodmore 5, at Gibsonburg 3 (8 innings). Gibsonburg forced extra innings with a run in the bottom of the seventh after the Wildcats had struck for a run in the top half of the inning. Woodmore then scored two runs in the eighth to secure the non-league win. Senior Blake Almroth tossed a complete game allowing one earned run with eight strikeouts. Almroth also drove in runs in the first and sixth innings with sacrifice flies. Junior Liam McCarthy singled in the seventh inning run with a single to give the Wildcats the led temporarily. Gibsonburg plated a run in the bottom of the seventh on an error. In the eighth, senior Aaron Miller collected his second hit of the game and senior Bryce Sandwisch walked. Both runners advanced one base on a balk. Junior Andrew Tucker bunted Miller home with the first run and senior Ashton Schneider doubled home Sandwisch, with his second hit in the game. Gibsonburg got runners on second and third with one out in the bottom of the eighth, but Almroth got the last two outs on a pop up and a strikeout. Miller scored three runs.

April 11 - at Eastwood 11, Woodmore 0. The Wildcats managed just one hit in their Northern Buckeye Conference opener. Senior Blake Almroth had the only hit, a single in the fourth inning. In that inning, Woodmore had runners on second and third with one out, but had the next two batters retired on a strikeout and a ground out. Junior Andrew Tucker started for the Wildcats and pitched 3.1 innings allowing nine hits and six earned runs with two strikeouts. Senior Derek Romstadt pitched the final inning allowing two hits and two earned runs. Twelve of the 15 Woodmore outs came on strikeouts.

April 9 - JV - Woodmore 6, at Port Clinton 3. Freshman Trace Murphy tossed a compete game allowing three earned runs with 11 strikeouts. Freshman Mitchell Gillig and Murphy each had one hit and a pair of RBI while freshman Jesse Gutierrez had a hit.
April 8 - at Margaretta 9, Woodmore 3. The Wildcats lost the non-league contest in five innings. Woodmore jumped on top on an RBI fielder's choice from Blake Almroth in the opening inning. Senior Bryce Sandwisch singled in senior Aaron Miller in the third inning after Miller led off with a single and stole second and moved to third on an error. That tied the game at 2-all. By the time Woodmore scored a run in the fifth inning on a Sandwisch steal of home, Margaretta had scored all of its nine runs. Miller and Sandwisch each had two hits. Miller was the starting pitcher working four innings allowing nine hits and six earned runs.

Freshman Mitchell Gillig finished the game with two strikeouts allowing three earned runs. Freshman Jesse Gutierrez had three hits with an RBI double while Ish had two hits and two RBI.
April 7 - at Woodmore 7, Cardinal Stritch 2. The Wildcats road the arm of senior Blake Almroth and a five-run third inning to the win. Almroth tossed a complete game allowing four hits and no earned runs while striking out 13. Junior Andrew Tucker drove in the first run with a sacrifice fly in the first inning. After the Cardinals took the lead with single runs in the second and third innings, Woodmore scored five times in the third inning as three of the runs scored on bases loaded walks. Tucker had an RBI ground out and senior Derek Romstadt had an RBI single. Senior Aaron Miller had two hits and scored three runs while senior Bryce Sandwisch also had two hits. Almroth had one hit and an RBI.

April 5 - at Woodmore 6, Delta 4. The Wildcats scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and junior Andrew Parker completed his game on the mound with perfect seventh inning. Parker allowed six hits and struck out nine in going the distance. Senior Derek Romstadt had two hits, one a double, and drove in a run in fifth inning. Junior Quentin Trevino drove in a run in the second inning with a ground out.

April 2 - Woodmore 3, at North Baltimore 0. Senior Blake Almroth tossed a complete-game three-hitter with 11 strikeouts and junior Quentin Trevino drove in all the runs the Wildcats would need with a two-run single with two outs in the second inning. Almroth threw exactly 100 pitches and allowed just two walks in the earning the win. North Baltimore loaded the bases with one out in the second inning, and Almroth got the next two batters on a strikeout and ground out. North Baltimore only got one runner to third base over the final five innings. Senior Bryce Sandwisch drove in the other Woodmore run with an infield single in the sixth inning. Senior Aaron Miller had three hits and junior Andrew Tucker had a pair of hits.

JV - Genoa 10, at Woodmore 9. Woodmore scored five runs in the fifth and sixth innings and had the tying run on third base in the seventh, but they could not get the runner home. Freshman Trace Murphy started and went three innings striking out five. Freshman Mitchell Gillig tossed the last four innings striking out eight. Sophomore Graecen O'Rourke had a pair of RBI singles for the Wildcats while sophomore Brayden Brubaker and freshman Brody Ish both had RBI singles.
March 30 - Oak Harbor 14, at Woodmore 7. Oak Harbor had one big inning, 11 runs in their half of the fourth inning, as Woodmore dropped its second game of the season. Woodmore took the lead with a run in the first inning as senior Aaron Miller led off with a double, advanced to third on a wild pitch, then stole home. Woodmore closed the gap to 3-2 in the third inning as junior Andrew Tucker drove in a run with an infield single. Woodmore took a 5-3 lead with three runs in the fourth as senior Bryce Sandwisch drew a bases loaded walk then Tucker followed with a two-run single. But, Oak Harbor struck for 11 runs on four hits in the fifth inning to take a 14-5 advantage. Oak Harbor also took advantage of five walks and two hit-by-pitch and two errors in the big inning. Woodmore scored a pair of runs in the seventh on an RBI single from junior Quentin Trevino and a hit batter. Miller and Tucker each had two hits and Tucker had three RBI. Sandwisch started and went three innings allowing two hits and two earned runs with five strikeouts. Miller worked 1.1 innings allowing three hits and four earned runs, and Tucker closed out the game going 2.2 innings allowing one hit and striking out one.

Freshman Mitchell Gillig started and went three innings allowing two hits and he had four strikeouts. Junior Nate Horvath pitched three innings and did not allow a hit with four strikeouts. Freshman Brody Ish had the only hit for Woodmore.

Senior Derek Romstadt drove home the lone run with an infield single in the second inning to drive home senior Bryce Sandwisch who had reached after being hit by a pitch and advancing on a wild pitch and a ground out. Senior Aaron Miller had the other Woodmore hit. Senior Blake Almroth started and went five innings allowing seven hits and three earned runs. He had eight strikeouts. Miller and junior Andrew Tucker also pitched.
