Wildcats Split NBC Duals

12/13/16 - The wrestling team traveled to Otsego for a Northern Buckeye Conference quad meet and split their matches.  Woodmore defeated Fostoria, 54-28, and lost to Otsego, 42-24.  Winning both of their matches was junior Tyler Sandwisch at 113 pounds (pin and forfeit), freshman Nate Chase at 138 (decision) and 132 (pin), senior Conor Emch at 145 pounds (decision) and 138 (pin), and junior Perter Magsig at 195 pounds (forfeit and pin).  Those four won their matches against Otsego and the other winner for the Wildcats was freshman Samuel Merritt who got a forfeit at 152 pounds.  Other than the four double winners in the Fostoria match, the Woodmore wrestlers who won matches included: freshman Brett Sandwisch at 105 pounds (forfiet), senior Jacob Amstutz at 120 pounds (pin), freshman Harley Harris at 126 pounds (forfeit), freshman Clay Rickard at 160 pounds (forfiet) and junior Josh Parlette at 285 pounds (forfeit).
