Woodmore vs. Hopewell-Loudon

Sophomore Sydni Buhrow was 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run for the Wildcats and two RBI.  Freshman Brooke Allen had one hit and a pair of RBI.  Starting pitcher, junior Delany Hablitzel, had a double at the plate while pitching 2.1 innings.  Buhrow pitched the final 2.2 innings. with three strikeouts.

The Wildcats managed just three hits but hung in with Hopewell-Loudon at home before the visitors erupted for nine runs over the last four innings.  Freshman Jordan Turner pitched the complete game for  Woodmore  while sophomore Libby Almroth, sophomore Jenna Haar, and freshman Kelsi Szakovits had the hits.  Woodmore scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning as they drew five walks and both runs scored on wild pitches.  Haar drew a walk in the fourth inning to force in one of the runs and the other run scored on an error and passed ball as Woodmore drew four walks in the inning.  In the fifth, Haar singled to start the inning and came around to score on an error and passed ball.
