The Wildcats took the early lead then gave it up but made two comeback attempts ultimately coming up a couple runs short in the their non-league home game.  Woodmore took the early lead with a three-run third inning to build a 4-1 advantage.  They still held a 4-3 lead when Hopewell-Loudon erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning.  Woodmore came back to score five runs in the bottom of the fifth to close the score to one run, 10-9.  Hopewell-Loudon scored three runs in the top of the seventh, and needed all of them, as Woodmore responded with two runs,on a two-run home run from senior Marena Hartford, in the bottom of the seventh, but that is as close as the Wildcats would get.  Hartford was 4-for-4 in the game with three RBI, while sophomore Maddie Thatcher went 3-for-4 with an RBI.  Freshmen Macie Wellons and Kayla Bosh along with sophomore Katelynn Marshall each had two hits.  Bosh had two RBI in the game and Wellons had one RBI.  Freshmen Lizzy Cook, Sydni Buhrow and Thatcher worked on the mound for the Wildcats.
