Swanton    3 0 1  0 2 0  X - 6  10  2
Woodmore had just one less hit than Swanton in their Div. III sectional game on the road, but could not get the key hit to score enough runs for the win.  Swanton scored three runs in the opening inning on three singles that loaded the bases and a double that unloaded the bases.  Woodmore got one run back in the second when they loaded the bases with one out and Lizzy Cook drove home the run with a fielder's choice.  The Wildcats were retired on a strikeout without causing any more damage.  Swanton got a run in the third on a double and a single and made it 6-1 with two runs in the fifth inning on two doubles, a single, and a sacrifice fly.  Woodmore made it interesting in the seventh as after one out,  sophomore Maddion Strickland reached on an error, and junior Katelynn Marshall doubled to put runners on second and third.  The second out of the inning came on a runner's interference call between second and third base.  Sophomore Macie Wellons then doubled in the run and freshman Brooke Allen was intentionally walked.  The final out came on a fly ball to center field.  Junior Kennedy Bringman and senior Alex Moreno each had two hits.  Sophomore Sydni Buhrow went the distance on the mound striking out five.
