Wildcats Drop Game to Genoa

The Wildcats managed just four hits in losing the home Northern Buckeye Conference contest.  Genoa scored nine of their runs in three of the innings.  Freshman Brooke Allen accounted for both Wildcat runs hitting a solo home run in third inning and driving in the run in the fifth inning with a single.  Junior Katelynn Marshall and junior Kayla Bosh had the other two Woodmore hits.  Sophomore Sydni Buhrow went the distance on the mound striking out five.

Freshman Jordan Turner went the distance on the mound for Woodmore striking out four and allowing only six earned runs.  Sophomore Libby Almroth was 1-for-2 at the plate with a double, walk, and 2 RBI.  Sophomore Jenna Haar was 1-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBI.
