Wildcats Open 2018 Season

8/9/18 - The varsity golf team at Woodmore High School opened the season playing in the Hohenstein Invitational hosted by Clyde at Green Hills Golf Course.  The Wildcats finished 22nd in the 27-team field with a 395 team total.  Galion won the team title shooting 311.  Sophomore Danny Greenhill was low man for Woodmore shooting 83.  Sophomore Ian Jacobson shot 96, sophomore Zane Lopez had a 97, freshman Duane Perkins shot 119, and freshman Landon Emch had a 126.  On Wednesday, Woodmore hosted the 13-team Wildcat Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green.  St. Henry won the tournament shooting 354 while Lakota was second (362), Lincolnview was third also shooting 362, Carey was fourth at 378, Hopewell-Loudon was fifth with a 388 total and Woodmore was sixth shooting 391.  Greenhill shot 80 to tie for second individually (Jack Romer from St. Henry shot 76 to earn medalist honors).  Jacobson shot 94, Lopez 101, freshman Aaron Miller 116, Emch 118, and Perkins 122.
