Wildcats Fourth in NBC Tourney; Third Overall; Miller Tourney Medalist

9/19/17 - The Woodmore golf team finished fourth in the Northern Buckeye Conference Championships at Green Hills GC in Clyde with a team total of 359.  Genoa took team honors shooting 337 while Eastwood was second with a 345 and Lake was third shooting 354.  In the overall standings, which include the results of the four shootouts combined with the league tournament, the Wildcats placed third with 35 points behind Genoa (48) and Eastwood (40).  Woodmore senior Mitchell Miller was the league tournament medalist shooting 78, four shots better than the runner-up.  Freshman Danny Greenhill shot 90, senior Ian Cook 92, senior Karter Converse 99, freshman Zane Lopez 106, and freshman Ian Jacobson 107.  Overall for the season, Miller was third among the league players in points to earn first-team All-NBC honors.  Greenhill earned second-team all-league honors with the 12th-best point total, and Cook earned honorable mention all-league with the 14th-best point total.
