Girls Tie Genoa in Tri-Meet

4/18/17 - Woodmore had four double winners as the Wildcats tied with host Genoa with 64 points in the Northern Buckeye Conference tri-meet.  Elmwood was third with 30 points.  The double winners for the Wildcats were freshman Claire Rothert in the 100 hurdles (17.6) and 300 hurdles (48.9), junior Annalicia Torres in the shot put (39-5 1/2) and the discus (115-0), senior Liz Koenig in the long jump (15-2 1/4) and high jump (5-0), and senior Camryn Bench in the 100 (13.8) and 200 (28.3).  Also winning events was senior Kate Barbee in the 1600 with a time of 6:19.5 and the 400 relay team of Bench, Koenig, Rothert, and senior Lily Rothert in a time of 54.1.  Earning second-place points was: Koenig in the 100 hurdles (18.1), L. Rothert in the 400 (1:05.2), Barbee in the 800 (2:55.6), and the 1600 relay team of L. Rothert, C. Rothert, Bench, and Barbee in a time of 4:44.7.
