Varsity Back on Winning Track With Home Win over Eastwood

9/17/16 - The varsity girls soccer team struggled for about 50 minutes in its home Northern Buckeye Conference game against Eastwood, trailing 1-0.  But, in a 38-second span of the second half they scorfed twice to earn a 2-1 win over the Eagles.  Senior Lily Rothert got the Wildcats on the board with 19:34 left in the game, on an assist from freshman Claire Rothert, and with 18:56 left in the game junior Carly Rothert scored the game-winner with senior Camryn Bench assisting.  Freshman goalkeeper Phoebe Jackson made six saves.  Woodmore had a 12-4 edge in shots.  Eastwood scored its goal five minutes into the game.
