10/11/16 - The Woodmore girls soccer team kept its hopes alive for the Northern Buckeye Conference title earning a hard-fought 1-1 tie with Lake at home.  Woodmore, now 7-1-1 in league play, needs a tie or win in its final regular season game at Eastwood Saturday to earn its third NBC title in the last four years.  Both teams scored in the first half of the game with Lake.  Woodmore scored with 35:34 left in the opening half as senior Lily Rothert found the back of the net.  Lake countered with a score with 11:49 left in the first half.  Both teams had 12 shots in the game and freshman Phoebe Jackson was credited with seven saves in goal for the Wildcats.
