Wildcats Drop Non-League Home Game

9/22/18 - The Wildcats girls soccer team lost a 2-1 decision at home to Archbold.  Woodmore scored first on a tally from junior Claire Rothert with 34:49 left in the first half.  Sophomore Autumn Beaudoin assisted on the goal.  Archbold tied it on a goal with 27:51 left in the first half and scored the deciding goal with 35:12 left in the second half on a penalty kick.  Junior goalkeeper Phoebe Jackson had 12 saves.

Wildcats Earn Home League Win

9/20/18 - The Wildcat girls soccer team scored three goals in each half on their way to a 6-1 win at home over Northern Buckeye Conference foe Rossford.  Senior Nora LaMunyon opened the scoring with a goal with 33:59 left in the first half.  After Rossford tied it with their only tally around the 19-minute mark, junior Claire Rothert scored goals at 7:40 and 3:08 to give the Wildcats a 3-1 lead at the break.  Freshman Tori Wilburn scored at 22:51 and 8:01 of the second half and sophomore Autumn Beaudoin notched a goal at 21:08 of the second half.  Freshman Sidney Wank and junior goalie Phoebe Jackson had assists.  Jackson made four saves in goal and Woodmore had 15 shots in the game.

Girls Get Road Win

9/17/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team earned a 2-1 win on the road at Swanton.  Both Woodmore goals were scored by sophomore Autumn Beaudoin with senior Nora LaMunyon drawing the assist on the first score and freshman Sidney Wank on the second.  Junior Phoebe Jackson had 11 saves in goal.

9/15/18 - The girls soccer team had seven different players score goals in their 12-0 win at Otsego in Northern Buckeye Conference play.  Sophomore Autumn Beaudoin scored four times while freshmen Sophia O'Neill and Tori Wilburn each had two goals.  Freshman Marinda Rotruck, senior Katie Brugger, freshman Sidney Wank, and sophomore Makayla Stang each had a goal.  Junior Phoebe Jackson had seven saves in goal for the Wildcats.

9/13/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team lost a 1-0 decision at home to Northern Buckeye Conference opponent Eastwood.  The lone goal of the game came with 11:03 left in the second half.  Junior goalie Phoebe Jackson had 13 saves.

9/6/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team lost a 3-1 decision at home to Northern Buckeye Conference foe Genoa.  Genoa led 2-0 at halftime before Woodmore cut the deficit in half on a goal by junior Claire Rothert with 32:25 left in the half.  But, Genoa notched a third goal with 5:00 left to put the game away.  Sophomore Autumn Beaudoin assisted on Rothert's goal.  Genoa scored on a penalty kick less than one minute into the game and they scored the second goal with 3:52 left in the first half.

9/4/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team lost a 7-2 decision at Liberty-Benton in a non-league road contest.  The game was 4-2 until the final 15 minutes.  Junior Claire Rothert had both goals for the Wildcats while senior Nora LaMunyon had both assists.  Junior Phoebe Jackson had 13 saves in goal.

8/30/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team went on the road to start Northern Buckeye Conference play and lost a 2-0 decision at Lake.  Junior Phoebe Jackson had eight saves in goal and the Wildcats had 16 shots.

Widcats Earn Tie at Home

8/27/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team earned a 2-2 tie at home with Riverdale when freshman Sidney Wank scored with 4:13 left in the game.  Riverdale had taken a 2-1 lead with a goal with 11:58 left in the game.  Riverdale opened the scoring with a goal just over four minutes into the game.  Woodmore evened it up before halftime as junior Claire Rothert scored with 19:50 left in the first half.  Rothert assisted on the Wank goal.  Junior Phoebe Jackson had eight saves in goal for the Wildcats.

8/23/18 - The Woodmore girls soccer team opened the 2018 season with a 4-1 win on the road in Northern Buckeye Conference action at Rossford.  Woodmore led 1-0 at halftime as junior Claire Rothert had three goals and senior Katie Brugger had the other goal.  Junior Phoebe Jackson had four saves in goal as Woodmore had 13 shots in the game.
