Woodmore Hosts Lakota

2/18/17 - Varsity - On senior night, the Wildcats (14-8) sent the final year players home with a victory, 57-27, over Lakota at home.  The first quarter went to the Wildcats, 11-10, but from there it was all Wildcats.  Woodmore outscored the Raiders, 36-11, in the middle two quarters to take a 47-21 advantage into the final quarter.  Senior Lily Rothert led the Wildcats with 15 points, 11 of those in the first half, nine in the second quarter, while senior Camryn Bench scored 10 points.  Senior Makenzie Hoffman had five points. senior Liz Koenig had two points, and senior Kate Barbee added seven points.  Senior Noelle Freund was also recognized before the game.  She has missed most of the season with an injury.  Sophomore Nora LaMunyon scored eight points.  Junior varsity - The Wildcats led all the way in capturing their season finale, 53-34, at home over Lakota.  Woodmore led 13-5 after one quarter and 28-15 at halftime and cruised the rest of the way for the victory.  Freshman Claire Rothert led the Wildcats with 15 points.  Freshmen Jordan Nighswander and Sydni Buhrow chipped in with 10 and eight points, respectively.
