Woodmore Takes Two from Genoa

2/2/17 - Varsity - The Wildcats (11-7, 8-4 NBC) broke open a close game in the third quarter outscoring Genoa, 19-6, to increase a 28-26 halftime lead to 47-32 going into the final quarter.  Each team scored 12 points in the final stanza as Woodmore posted a 59-44 victory.  Senior Camryn Bench led nine players who found the scoresheet for Woodmore with 12 points,10 points in the second half.  Three players contributed eight points apiece - sophomore Katie Brugger, junior Hayley Freund, and senior Lily Rothert.  Junior Varsity - The Wildcats led 20-7 at halftime and increased their edge to 29-9 heading into the fourth quarter on their way to a 42-14 win.  Ten different players scored led by sophomores Maddie Thatcher, Paige Schmeltz, Makayla Throop, and freshman Sydni Buhrow who each scored six points.
