Woodmore Drops Non-League Road Contest

12/19/17 - Varsity - at Old Fort 36, Woodmore 26.  In a close game most of the way, Old Fort scored consecutive three-point plays in the fourth quarter to open up a small gap that they rode to the victory.  The teams were tied at seven after one quarter, tied at 18 at halftime, and Old Fort held a slim 24-23 lead after three quarters.  Woodmore managed just five points in the third quarter and they scored just three points in the final quarter.  Junior Katie Brugger led the Wildcats with seven points, freshman Brooke Allen scored six points.  Junior Varsity - at Old Fort 51, Woodmore 18.  Woodmore gave up 16 points in each of the first two quarters to trail 32-14 at halftime.  Woodmore scored half of its points, nine, in the first quarter.  The followed with five, four, and zero points in the next three quarters.  Sophomore Sydni Buhrow led the way with seven points, all in the first half.
