Wildcats Take Two at Eastwood

1/27/17 - Varsity - The Wildcats broke open a tight game late in the third quarter and early in the final stanza and went on to earn a 49-40 Northern Buckeye Conference win at Eastwood.  Woodmore led 25-22 at halftime and increased their advantage to 38-31 after three quarters.  When the Wildcats scored the first four points of the fourth quarter, they led 42-31 with 4:44 left in the game.  Eastwood closed to within 44-38 with 1:51 left before Woodmore scored five of the last seven points.  Sophomore Nora LaMunyon led the Wildcats with 15 points, 11 in the first half.  Senior Lily Rothert added seven points and seniors Camryn Bench and Kate Barbee each had six points.  Junior varsity - The Wildcats built a 12-poing halftime edge and led by 20 points after three quarters in earning a 38-16 win.  Woodmore led 19-7 at halftime and 33-13 after three quarters.  Freshman Sydni Buhrow led the Wildcats with 13 points while sophomore Paige Schmeltz added eight points and freshman Jordan Nighswander had five points.
