Wildcats Successful on the Road

11/27/18 - Varsity - Woodmore 49, at Gibsonburg 33 - After the Wildcats led 4-3 after one quarter, they scored the first six points of the second quarter and 15 of the first 19 in the frame to open up a 19-7 advantage.  Woodmore settled for a 25-10 halftime edge then put the game away with an 8-1 start to the third quarter to build a 33-11 lead.  Sophomore Brooke Allen led the way with 16 points while junior Jordan Nighswander added nine points and nine rebounds.  Senior Katie Brugger also chipped in with nine points.  Nighswander scored eight of her points in the second quarter to key that run by the Wildcats.  Junior Varsity - Woodmore 48, at Gibsonburg 16 - Woodmore scored 18 points in the second quarter to increase a seven-point first quarter lead to 31-8 at halftime and coasted to the win.  Eight different players scored as freshman Sidney Wank led the way with 10 points while sophomore Sidney Gillig added eight points and freshman Sophie Blausey scored seven points.
