Wildcats Open Season with Road Win

11/25/16 - Varsity - Woodmore 51, at Port Clinton 22 - The Wildcats opened the season with the lopsided win holding Port Clinton to five points in the first half to lead 26-5 at the break.  Woodmore increased the lead to 40-9 after three periods and the two teams played an even fourth quarter.  Senior Camryn Bench led 11 Woodmore scorers with nine points and topped the team with six rebounds.  Senior Lily Rothert scored eight points senior Kate Barbee chipped in with seven points, seven steals, and four assists.  Junior varsity - Woodmore 55, at Port Clinton 12 - The junior varsity coasted to the win after building a 31-4 edge at halftime.  The Wildcats had four players in double figures led by freshman Sydni Buhrow with 13 points.  Sophomore Maddie Thatcher added 12 points, while junior Lauren Wolph and freshman Claire Rothert each added 10 points.
