Wildcats Struggle at Home with Eastwood, Rain

9/30/16 - The Woodmore football team managed just 21 yards of total offense against Eastwood at Wildcat Stadium in losing a 41-0 decision.  The game was played in a steady rain throughout most of the contest.  Eastwood scored once in the first quarter and opened the game up with 21 points in the second stanza, all three scores coming in the last 5:18 of the quarter, to lead 28-0 at halftime.  They scored once in the each of the final two quarters.  Woodmore was outgained, 310-21, as Eastwood had a 282 to minus 8 advantage in rushing.  Eastwood had 16 first downs to three for the Wildcats.  Senior DJ Wellons carried 12 times for 33 yards and junior Donovan Reyes completed 3-of-7 passes for 29 yards.  Senior Derek Wank caught two passes for 26 yards.
