Wildcats Drop Home Non-League Contest; Open NBC Play Next Week

9/9/16 - The Woodmore varsity football team could not get anything going against Swanton at home in dropping a 70-0 decision.  The visitors scored 49 points in the middle two quarters in cruising to the victory.  Swanton ran for nine of their 10 touchdowns and amassed 372 yards on the ground (on 34 carries) and 445 total yards for the game.  Woodmore had 114 yards of total offense, 55 coming on the ground.  Senior DJ Wellons led the Wildcats with nine carries for 56 yards while junior quarterback Donovan Reyes completed 7-of-19 passes for 59 yards.  Swanton had a 17-7 edge in first downs.  Woodmore will begin Northern Buckeye Conference play next Friday travelling to Otsego for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
