Varsity Runs at Tiffin Carnival

9/12/16 - The varsity girls cross country team placed 33rd of 53 teams in the Tiffin Carnival with 866 points while the boys team was 16th of 37 teams with 445 points.  Top WHS finisher for the girls was freshman Faith Morris in a time of 22:21.5 to place 100th out of 373 runners.  Senior Samantha Sedlmeier was right behind Morris in 116th place with a time of 22:35.7.  Other Woodmore runners included: senior Kate Barbee (189, 23:47.4), senior Noelle Freund (237, 24:44.8), junior Mackenzie Nighswander (267, 25:29.1), and freshman Madeline Shuler (279, 25:42.4).  On the boys side, junior Joey Emerine finished 27th in a time of 18:57.0.  There were 240 runners in the boys race.  Freshman Chase Dickerson was the next Wildcat to cross the finish line in a time of 19:41.0 to place 55th.  Other Woodmore runners included: sophomore Ethan Davis (87, 20:18.4), sophomore Bryson Wargo (133, 21:04.6), and senior Jacob Murray (146, 21:34.3).
