Teams Compete at Seneca East

8/26/17 - The boys and girls cross country team competed in the Tiger Classic hosted by Seneca East.  The boys team placed 16th with 394 team points and the girls team was 11th with 255 points.  On the boys side, senior Joey Emerine was the top finisher placing 64th in a time 19:09.39 while junior Jimmy Grzegorczyk was 72nd in 19:22.20.  Sophomore Pierce Overmyer finished 82nd in 19:34.33, sophomore Steven Carter was 84th in 19:41.62, junior Ethan Davis was 118th in 20:38.10, sophomore Cole Sotak placed 128th in 20:51.11, sophomore Nick Reedy ran 23:07.75 to place 195th, freshman Kegan Harrison was 206th in 24:11.71, and senior Alexander Cutcher placed 235th in 30:19.37.  In the girls meet, Woodmore had two runners in the top 15.  Freshman Ava Beam placed fifth with a time of 20:32.54 and freshman Olivia Thatcher was 13th 21:02.44.  There were a total of 203 runners in the race.  Sophomore Faith Morris placed 43rd in 22:53.10, senior Mackenzie Nighswander was 110th in 25:53.24, sophomore Caitlyn Hammer was 142nd in 27:42.94, and sophomore Madeline Shuler was 148th in 27:56.51.
