Girls Third, Boys Fifth at NBC Jamboree

9/20/16 - The girls team placed third and the boys fifth at the Northern Buckeye Conference jamboree hosted by Fostoria.  For the girls, Woodmore had three runners in the top 10.  Freshman Faith Morris placed third in a time of 21:48.29 while senior teammate Samantha Sedlmeier was right behind in fourth place running 22:25.59.  Senior Kate Barbee ran a time of 23:52.72 to claim eighth place.  Senior Noelle Freund was 11th in a time of 24:39.60 and junior Mackenzie Nighswander was 23rd in 25:53.51.  Freshman Caitlyn Hammer was 36th in a time of 27:35.89.  The girls had 46 teams points to finish behind Otsego and Eastwood who both had 44 points.  On the boys side, Woodmore had 144 points as junior Joey Emerine was the top Wildcat finisher in 12th-place with a time of 19:20.56.  Sophomore Ethan Davis placed 26th in a time of 20:21.66 while sophomore Bryson Wargo was 39th in 21:00.01.  Sophomore Jimmy Grzegorczyk was 48th in 21:23.77 while senior Jacob Murray was 58th in a time of 21:59.59.  Freshman Pierce Overmyer was 60th in 22:03.08, senior Connor Davis placed 67th in 23:08.81, and freshman cole Sotak was 70th in 23:32.34.
