Girls 3rd, Boys 7th at NBC Jamboree; Wildcat Girls Finish 1-2 Individually

8/29/17 - The girls team had the top two finishers in the Northern Buckeye Conference Jamboree at Eastwood and took third place as a team while the boys finished seventh.  Freshman Olivia Thatcher won the girls race with a time of 21:09.92 while freshman teammate Ava Beam was second running 21:16.55.  Sophomore Faith Morris also finished in the top 10, placing seventh in a time of 22:22.51.  Seniro Mackenzie Nighswander was 32nd in 25:30.71 while sophomores Caitlyn Hammer was 44th (27:40.98) and Madeline Shuler was 45th (27:45.70).  Woodmore had 77 team points to finish behind Eastwood (57) and Genoa (61).  In the boys race, senior Joey Emerine was the first Wildcat across the finish line in  28th-place in a time of 19:45.61.  Sophomore Steven Carter was right behind Emerine in 30th-place with a time of 19:53.49.  Sophomore Pierce Overmyer was 40th (20:20.77), junior Ethan Davis placed 46th (20:38.66), sophomore Cole Sotak was 54th (21:04.67, sophomore Nicholas Reedy was 65th (22:00.11), freshman Kegan Harrison was 80th (26:20.87), and senior Alexander Cutcher was 81st (26:40.52).  The boys finished with 169 team points.
