Girls 11th, Boys 19th at Galion

9/17/16 - The varsity cross country teams ran in the Galion Cross Country Festival and the girls finished 11th and the boys team 19th.  The girls had 287 points as freshman Lizzy Cook was the top finisher running a time of 20:51.4 to place 22nd.  Freshman Faith Morris was 35th in a time of 21:16.5 and senior Samantha Sedlmeier finished 38th in 21:27.0.  Other Wildcats runners included: senior Kate Barbee (89th, 23:01.0), senior Noelle Fruend (105th, 23:43.4), freshman Madeline Shuler (142nd, 25:23.4), and junior Mackenzie Nighswander (144th, 25:26.2).  There were 27 teams in the girls race.  On the boys side, they had 544 points with junior Joey Emerine the top finisher at 50th-place in a time of 18:26.3.  Sophomore Ethan Davis finished 115th in a time of 19:55.8 while sophomore Jimmy Grzegorczyk was 123rd in 20:10.9.  Other Woodmore runners included: freshman Chase Dickerson (126th, 20:15.4), sophomore Bryson Wargo (130th, 20:24.9), and senior Jacob Murray (147th, 21:01.1).  There were 28 team in the race.  Senior Connor Davis ran in the open race and finished 198th in a time of 22:21.5.
