Woodmore Third Hosting NBC Tri-Meet

4/24/18 -  The Woodmore boys track and field team was third in a Northern Buckeye Conference tri-meet they hosted.  Eastwood took the top spot with 92.5 points while Otsego had 45 and the Wildcats finished with 34.5 points.  Senior Jeremy Schiavone won the 100 (11.7) and 200 (12.0) while he was a part of the 400 relay team that tied for first.  Sophomore Grant Perry, freshman Aaron Sandrock, sophomore Daniel Geisler, and Schavone were timed in 47.6.  The only other Woodmore athlete to win an event was sophomore Cole Sotak who won the pole vault clearing 10-0.  Earning second-place points was sophomore Paul Koenig in the 1600 with a time of 4:54.0.  The 800 relay team of sophomore Tyler Zeller, Sandrock, Giesler, and Schiavone was second in a time of 1:40.0.  Freshman Cameron Overmyer was second in the pole vault clearing 10-0.  Sandrock in the 100 (12.0) and sophomore Pierce Overmyer in the 3200 (11:38.0) each earned third-place points in the event.  Koenig was fourth in the 300 hurdles (52.1), Giesler was fourth in the 200 (25.4), and freshman Christian Shope was fourth in the  400 (1:01.0).
