Wildcats Have Relay Qualify for State Meet

5/26/17 - On the final day of the Div. III regional meet in Tiffin, the boys track and field team had one relay qualify for the state meet next week in Columbus.  The Wildcats finished the meet with 19 points to tie for 14th-place.  Eastwood won the team title with 84 points.  The Wildcats had the same contingent of four runners competing in the finals of the 800 and 400 relays.  The group of senior JT ATkin, junior Eli Rogers, freshman Daniel Giesler, and junior Jeremy Schiavone earned their state meet ticket with a fourth-place finish in the 800 relay with a time of 1:32.19.  In the 400 relay, the same foursome were timed in 44.79 to place seventh, .34 seconds behind the fourth-place team.
