Boys Sixth at Port Clinton

4/27/18 - The boys track and field team finished sixth in the Port Clinton Invitational with 53 points.  Oak Harbor took the team title with 175 points.  The Wildcats had two individual champions.  Senior Jeremy Schiavone won the 200 with a time of 23.29 while sophomore Cole Sotak won the pole vault clearing 13-6.  Schiavone was third in the 100 with a time of 11.74 while sophomore Paul Koenig was fourth in the 1600 with a time of 4:44.94 and freshman Cameron Overmyer was fourth in the pole vault clearing 10-6.  Other placers for Woodmore included Koenig in the 3200 (5th, 11:05.67) and junior Michael Lindhorst in the discus (8th, 108-7).  The 400 relay team of sophomore Marty Perkins, freshman Aaron Sandrock, sophomore Daniel Giesler, and Schiavone were fifth in a time of 47.22.  The 1600 relay foursome of  freshman Christian Shope, Sandrock, Perkins, and sophomore Tyler Zeller placed seventh in a time of 4:12.43.  The 3200 relay team of Koenig, junior Jimmy Grzegorczyk, sophomore Jonathan Kigar, and sophomore Nick Reedy were seventh in a time of 9:36.31.  The 800 relay team of Zeller, Sandrock, Giesler, and Schiavone were fifth running a time of 1:38.07.
