Boys Are Fourth at Evergreen

4/30/18 - The boys varsity track and field team finished fourth in the six-team T.J. Rupp Invitational at Evergreen High School.  Woodmore finished with 81.5 points.  Rossford took the team title with 149 points.  Woodmore had two events winners as sophomore Paul Koenig won the 800 with a time of 2:10.01 and sophomore Cole Sotak won the pole vault clearing 10-0.  Koenig had two second-place finishes in the 1600 (4:59.37) and the 3200 (10:59.61).  Other runner-up finishes were turned in by senior Jeremy Schiavone in the 200 (23.35) and freshman Cameron Overmyer in the pole vault clearing 10-0.  The 800 relay team of sophomore Tyler Zeller, freshman Aaron Sandrock, sophomore Daniel Giesler, and Schiavone was third in a time of 1:40.57.  Schiavone was fourth in the 100 (11.40) while freshman Ian Jacobson was fourth in the high jump clearing 5-0.  The 400 relay team of sophomore Marty Perkins, Sandrock, Giesler, and Schiavone were fourth in 47.63.
