10/10/17 - The Woodmore boys soccer (12-4, 9-1 NBC) team went on the road to battle state-ranked Archbold and lost a 3-0 decision.  Archbold was ranked fifth in the latest Div. III state poll.  Senior Kevin Paul was credited with 12 saves in goal.  The game was the final regular season contest of the season and broke a 10-game Wildcat winning streak.  Woodmore will begin Div. III state tournament play Tuesday (Oct. 17) when they host Eastwood at 5 p.m. in the sectional semifinal game.  Woodmore is the #4 seed in the district while Eastwood is seeded 12th.  The winner of that game advances to play #11 seed Old Fort on Oct. 21.  Tickets for the sectionals and district games are $6 for adults and $4 for students and are only available at the game.
