10/5/17 - The Woodmore boys soccer team (12-3-0, 9-1-0 NBC) earned at least a share of the Northern Buckeye Conference title with a 3-1 win at Eastwood.  Lake has one league game remaining and has an 8-1 league record.  The Wildcats had a 1-0 lead at halftime of the Eastwood game on the strength of a goal by junior Hayden Heidebrink.  After Eastwood tied it, junior Alec Garcia put the Wildcats ahead for good with a goal and Heidebrink drew the assist.  A little later, senior Eli Rogers iced the win with a goal as Garcia earned the assist.  Senior Kevin Paul made 10 saves in goal.  Woodmore has now won 10 straight games outscoring the opposition, 45-9, during the streak.
