Wildcats host Oak Harbor

12/2/17 - Varsity - at Woodmore 65, Oak Harbor 42.  The Wildcats opened the season at home against Oak Harbor in non-league action and built a 26-16 edge at halftime and put the game away by outscoring the Rockets, 21-7, in the third quarter to take a 47-23 edge into the final stanza.  Senior Mitchell Miller scored 30 points, 18 in the third quarter, while junior Logan Mierzejewski added eight points and senior Kevin Paul added seven points.  The Wildcats were 20-of-27 at the charity stripe compared to 4-of-10 for Oak Harbor.  Junior Varsity - at Woodmore 48, Oak Harbor 41 - Woodmore increased a 23-22 lead at halftime to 36-30 after three quarters in the victory.  Freshman Ethan McNair and junior Jimmy Grzegorczyk each scored 10 points for the Wildcats.  Sophomore Tristan Tracy added nine points and sophomore Paul Koenig and Cade Burrough each scored eight points.  Freshman - Oak Harbor 25, at Woodmore 21 - Oak Harbor won the third quarter 7-2 to take a 16-13 advantage into the fourth quarter.  Isaac Betancourt led the Wildcats with seven points while Zach Hunt and Ethan McNair added four points apiece.
