Wildcats Drop Regular Season Finale to League Champ Rossford

The Wildcats (5-17, 3-11 NBC) fell behind 20-4 after one quarter and could never recover as Rossford clinched at least a share of the Northern Buckeye Conference title with the victory. The Wildcats fell behind by a 36-17 score at halftime and Rossford extended the advantage to 52-30 after three quarters. Junior JT Atkin led the Wildcats with 14 points, 11 coming in the first half. Senior Colin Sandrock added eight points. In the junior varsity game, Rossford led 31-16 at halftime and extended their advantage to 45-23 after three quarters. Sophomore Donovan Reyes led the Wildcats with 17 points. In the freshman game, Woodmore won the first half big building a 27-4 haftime advantage. Freshman Drew Burner led Woodmore scoring 29 points while Hayden Heidebrink scored nine points. Burner hit nine three-point field goals, five in the first half, on his way to the 29 points.
