3/4/17 - The Wildcat bowling team came up just short in its bid for a state title competing at the Div. II state championships at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl in the capital city.  The Wildcats had a pin total of 3306 after the qualifying round of the tournament to place ninth.  The top eight teams advance to the championship bracket.  The eighth-place school, Woodridge, had a pin total of 3309, three better than the Wildcats.  As part of the qualifying round, each bowler bowled three regulation 10-pin games and All-Ohio honors were based on that three-game pin total.  Owen Conner rolled games of 215, 247, and 165 for a 627 total which was 12th-best among the 100 bowlers, earning him honorable mention All-State honors.
