Woodmore tied the game in the top of the sixth with three runs and scored the game-winner in the ninth to earn the non-league road win in the first game of the doubleheader.  Woodmore plated two runs in the second inning on a ground out and error.  In the sixth, they tied the game at 5-all as they loaded the bases with no outs and senior Kevin Paul drove in two runs with a single to left field.  Paul eventually scored the tying run on a ground out and an error.  The winning run in the ninth was scored by Paul when he lead off the inning with single, stole second, advanced to third on a ground out and scored on an error.  Paul was 2-for-3 in the game with three RBI and two runs scored.  Senior Owen Conner started and went four innings allowing five hits and four earned runs with a strikeout.  Senior Hunter Stevenson finished the final five innings allowing one hit and an unearned run with two strikeouts.

Woodmore scored all its runs in two innings, including the deciding four runs in the sixth inning.  Woodmore hit for three runs in the opening inning on a bases loaded passed ball, an RBI single from senior Zach Matwiejczyk, and an error.  St. Joseph CC came back to tie it with a single tally in the fourth and two more in the fifth.  Woodmore plated four runs in the sixth on a Paul RBI single and a Stevenson three-run double.  Six different Woodmore players had one hit with Stevenson driving in three runs.  Junior Taityn Rollins went the distance on the mound with six strikeouts while allowing two earned runs.
