Rossford scored eight unearned runs taking advantage of seven Woodmore errors as the Wildcats lost a Northern Buckeye Conference road game.  Woodmore opened the scoring with a single tally in the second inning as senior Derrick Berkel led off with a double and junior Taityn Rollins followed with a single to move Berkel to third and senior Kevin Paul singled in Berkel.  The next Wildcat batter in the inning walked to load the bases with no outs, but WHS was retired on a strike out, fly out, and ground out.  Rossford took the lead for good with five runs in the bottom of the inning on two hits, two walks, a hit batter and two Wildcat errors.  Rossford scored three runs in the third inning on a walk, error, hit by pitch, walk, and single.  Berkel and senior Owen Conner had RBI singles in the fifth to cut into the deficit, but Rossford wiped out the two runs scored by Woodmore with two of their own in the bottom of the frame.  Woodmore made it interesting with a five-run sixth to make it 10-8.  Senior Ian Cook had an RBI double to get the sixth inning going and senior Donovan Reyes stroked a two-run single later in the frame and Rollins' two-run double closed the scoring for Woodmore.  Rossford scored an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth and Woodmore was retired in the seventh on a single sandwiched around a strike out, fielder's choice, and ground out.  Woodmore had a 14-8 edge in the game in hits as Reyes, senior Mitchell Miller, Berkel, Rollins, and Paul all had two hits.  Reyes and Rollins each had two RBI and four other players had single RBI.  Rollins started for the Wildcats and went 2.2 innings allowing two hits and eight runs (none of them earned) with one strikeout.  Conner then pitched 1.2 innings allowing two hits and two earned runs with one strikeout and Miller pitched the final 1.2 innings allowing four hits and one earned run with two strikeouts.  Woodmore stranded eight runners, Rossford 10.
