Errors proved to be the difference in the road loss to Genoa as the Wildcats (5-11-1, 4-5 NBC) were guilty of four miscues in the sixth inning when Genoa turned a 2-2 game into the final score tallying three times.  Three hits, a walk, and a hit by pitch led to the two Genoa runs in the third inning.  Woodmore cut the deficit in half in the fourth inning as senior JT Arkin singled, senior DJ Wellons followed with a single and after Atkin stole third, he scored on a sacrifice fly from junior Zach Matwiejczyk.  The following inning the Wildcats tied the game as junior Kevin Paul led off with a single, senior Austin Berkel walked, and junior Hunter Stevenson singled in Paul.  Wellons had two hits for the Wildcats, one a triple.  Senior Brandon Cowell started and went 2.2 innings allowing four hits and two earned runs with two strikeouts and three walks.  Berkel finished the final 3.1 innings allowing three hits and no earned runs with one strikeout.
