Genoa      0 0 1  1 2 0  1 - 5  11  0
Woodmore  0 0 0  0 0 4  0 - 4  7  2
The Wildcats came back to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth with a four-run inning, only to see Genoa push across a run in the top of the seventh which proved to be the game-winning run.  After Genoa had scored in three straight innings to take a 4-0 lead after five innings, the Wildcat tied the score with four runs in the sixth inning.  The Wildcats loaded the bases with one out in the sixth on two singles and an infield single.  Senior Hunter Stevenson then plated two runs with single to left field to cut the deficit in half.  Senior Mitchell Miller then doubled in two runs to even the score.  The next two batters would reach on a hit batter and single to load the bases with one out.  But, the next two batters struck out to end the threat.  In the Genoa seventh, with one out, a double, walk and an error scored the run.  All three Wildcat batters struck out in the seventh inning.  Senior Donovan Reyes went the distance on the mound for Woodmore and allowed three earned runs while striking out three.  Seven different Woodmore players had hits in the game with Miller and Stevenson each collecting two RBI.

Woodmore     0 0 2  0 0 0  0 - 2  3  2
Genoa       1 0 0  2 1 3  X - 7  5  4
The junior varsity team pushed across a couple runs in the third inning to take a 2-1 lead, but that would be all the runs the Wildcats would score and Genoa scored six runs in its last three at-bats.  After Genoa scored a run in the first inning, Woodmore took the lead in the third as sophomore Brett Sandwisch led off by walking, and Mike Brzeczek followed with a bunt that was thrown away by the pitcher, Sandwisch advancing to third.  Brzeczek then stole second and freshman Hunter Allen then singled in Sandwisch and Brzeczek.  Allen had another hit in the game while sophomore Logan Wolph had the other Woodmore hit.  Sophomore Steven Carter started on the mound for the Wildcats and pitched three innings allowing two hits and three earned runs.  Allen tossed the final three innings allowing three hits and three earned runs.  Carter had one strike out and Allen struck out three.  Both allowed four walks.
