Junior Varsity: Otsego, 13-0 (6)
Otesgo did all its scoring early and Woodmore came back within one run but couldn't plate the tying run in losing on the road in Northern Buckeye Conference play.  After the Wildcats had a single and a double in the top of the first inning but failed to score, Otsego plated a run in the bottom of the frame on a pair of two-out hits and an error.  Otsego increased the lead to 3-0 in the third inning scoring twice as a hit batsman, walk and single loaded the bases and another single plated two runs.  Woodmore got one of the runs back in the fourth inning as senior JT Atkin doubled with one out and advanced to third on a wild pitch when with two outs junior Hunter Stevenson's grounder was not fielded cleanly and Atkin scored.  Woodmore got within one run in the fifth inning as senior Mason Beachler led off drawing a walk.  He was sacrificed to second and junior Donovan Reyes singled Beacher home.  Reyes and Atkin both had two hits in the game.  Woodmore had a runner on third with one out in the sixth inning and did not score and they were retired in order in the seventh inning.  Woodmore had the bases loaded in the third inning with no outs and failed to score.  Senior Brandon Cowell started for the Wildcats and pitched five innings while junior Derrick Berkel worked the sixth inning.  Cowell had five strikeouts and three walks.
