Senior Derrick Berkel tossed a complete-game three-hitter, but Otsego scored all its runs in one inning, with the help of three Woodmore errors, as the Wildcats lost on the road in Northern Buckeye Conference play.  Berkel struck out eight and allowed just one earned run in pitching the distance.  In the Otsego sixth, with one out, they singled and then doubled to plate the first run.  After the batter who doubled took third on an error, he scored on a ground out.  The third run came around to score on two errors.  Woodmore scored its run in the seventh on a walk, passed ball, and error.  The Wildcats stranded two runners in the seventh inning.  Woodmore also stranded two runners in the first, third and sixth innings.  Senior Ian Cook had three of the Woodmore hits while Berkel, sophomore Tyler Babka, senior Zach Matwiejczyk, and freshman DJ Melter also had hits.  Berkel retired Otsego in order in the first, third, fourth, and fifth innings.
