Baseball Team Drops NBC Road Game

Elmwood broke open a 1-1 game with six runs in the third and fourth innings to earn the win over Woodmore.  Elmwood scored a single run in the first inning on a walk, error, fly out and single.  Woodmore evened it up in the second on a walk, stolen base, error and sacrifice fly from junior Taityn Rollins.  Elmwood scored four times in the third on a walk and RBI single, then with two outs another walk and error loaded the bases and a hit by pitch plated the second run.  The third run scored on an RBI single and the final run on another hit batsman.  Senior Hunter Stevenson, who pitched the final 2.1 innings, had one of the hits, a double, for the Wildcats while sophomore Tyler Babka and Rollins had the other two hits for Woodmore.  Senior Mitchell Miller started and went the first inning before Rollins took over in the second frame and pitched 2.2 innings.
